District 27 DLT
District 27 DLT
DLT stands for the District Leadership Team. It’s a group of district administrators, principals, teachers, parents, and sometimes community members. The team is responsible for reviewing data, setting priorities, and monitoring progress toward the district’s goals.
What are DLT CDEP Goals?
Put simply:
- They are the district-wide goals that come out of the CDEP process.
- They guide how the district will improve teaching, learning, and student outcomes.
- The DLT is the body that creates, monitors, and adjusts those goals based on data and stakeholder input.
Typical categories include:
- Student Achievement (raising test scores, graduation rates, literacy, math growth)
- Equity and Access (closing achievement gaps, ensuring all students get opportunities)
- Professional Capacity (supporting teacher development and leadership pipelines)
- School Climate and Well-Being (attendance, SEL, safe schools, student engagement)
- Family & Community Engagement (partnering with families and local orgs)
